Berlin Offline City Map

1. Something is missing on the map or some information is wrong. Where can I send corrections?

I'm using data from the collaborative OpenStreetMap project for both the map and the search engine. OpenStreetMap is a project where millions of volunteers work together to build a complete map of the world, similar to the way Wikipedia users build an encyclopedia. Everybody can participate in the completeness and correctness of the data in OpenStreetMap.

If you found something wrong on my map, you should try to fix it in OpenStreetMap directly instead of notifying me about it. By improving the data in OpenStreetMap it will not only find its way into the next version of this app but also into many other apps and websites.

More information on how to begin mapping on OpenStreetMap is available on the project's help page.

2. I can't find anything using the search. What am I doing wrong?

Cause 1

Avoid substituting 'ß' with 'ss'. For example when looking for 'Hauptstraße', don't type Haupstrasse but Hauptstraße instead.

Cause 2

Don't type in too much detail. For example when looking for 'Ziegelstraße 10, 10117 Berlin', type in just Ziegelstraße or even just Ziegel and browse through the results.

Cause 3

If you're using the premium version, make sure that you have selected 'all categories' using the category selector.

3. I like your apps. How can I support you?

Developing and maintaining the apps takes considerable time. I intentionally avoid overly intrusive ads and rely on the users of my apps to pay a small amount for the apps themselves.

If you didn't do it yet, you can buy the Unlocker-App to disable ads and to activate the premium features.

If you would like to support me further financially, you can donate something. For a one-time donation, you can use any of the apps I have put online for that. There are apps for amounts of 1 Euro, 2 Euro, 5 Euro and 10 Euro.

If you would like to support my occupation with developing apps and other useful software on a regular basis, you can do that on Patreon. More information on that is available on my Patreon page.
